HERMÈS Paris. Cordelière model. Handbag in black patent crocodile (Crocodylus porosus). One handle. Flap closure with a gold-tone metal clasp featuring a knotted rope motif. Interior pockets. Lined interior, signed Hermès Paris. (Signs of wear). Circa 1970. Dimensions: 18 x 27.5 x 9 cm – Height with handle: 33 cm. CITES Regulations for Hermès Bags: Within the EU, "it has been established that all crocodile skins used by Hermès in the manufacture of its bags come from populations or species listed in Appendix II or, in the case of Appendix I, from farms registered with the CITES Secretariat (source code D).
