Armchair with a medallion-shaped backrest in white-lacquered, molded, and carved beech; fluted armrests and legs; and rosette-adorned connecting blocks. Stamped by Jean-Baptiste-Claude SENÉ, who was admitted as a master on May 10, 1769. 90 x 58.5 x 51 cm. Louis XVI period. Included is a similar model with fluted legs featuring scalloped edges. 90.5 x 60 x 53 cm. Upholstered in silk with a floral pattern and flower baskets.
