18th-century gilded brass equinoctial sundial, signed on the back by Andreas Vogler (1730-1800), compass maker in Augsburg circa 1750. Top plate engraved with flowers and geometric decorations enclosed in scrolls. Gnomon and hour circle adjustable according to the latitude indications engraved on the cursor. Latitudes of various cities (Leipzig, Paris, Prague...) indicated under the compass bowl. 5.6 x 5.8 cm.
