Italian officer's saber type 1855, partially checkered black - Lot 269
Italian officer's saber type 1855, partially checkered blackened wood handle, iron frame, melon-ribbed pommel, one-limbed hilt with baguette-like auricle, flat-backed curved blade with counter-edge and hollow sides. Iron scabbard with two bracelets (blows). Fairly good condition. With a tricolor strap (green having turned blue) with two tassels in gilded trimmings (as is).
