Officer's horse hunter's gibbet, model 1872. Case covered with black patent leather, blue silk and lined with red morocco. Gilded brass ribs, rim and radiating horn motif. Patent leather band in poor condition, lined with blue silk (tears) with gilded brass trim. A.B.E. Third Republic.
