Model 1825 cuirassier officer's helmet, modified 1830. Silver-plated copper shell. Godron crest, decorated on the front with a palmette. Marmoset decorated with water leaves. Pomegranate headband within a laurel wreath, radiating bosses and 8-ring chinstraps, guilloché, lined with black cloth, in gilded brass. Chenille and mane in black horsehair. Red horsehair marmoset puff. Leather headpiece decorated with petit fer, with brown leather chinstrap. B.E. (Slight wear).
