BIDJAR gallery (Persia), end of the 19th century. A "camel hair" colour field with flowers, stylised botehs, animals, figures, diamonds and small symbols serves as a support for six main medallions and six linked intermediate medallions. They are hooked hexagonal, brick, pistachio, ivory, chestnut and cream coloured, and are decorated with stylised polychrome vegetalized crosses and small bicoloured botehs. The frame consists of three borders, two ivory with garlands of flowers and a central "bayadère" with multicoloured hatched bands. Nice posture. 460 x 110 cm.
