MELAYER (Persia), end of the 19th century. An oblong, serrated brick counter-field with double niches, where two stylised floral compositions are suspended, supports a curious rectangular medallion crenellated in anthracite, covered with a seedling of multicoloured stylised flowers. Flower wedges anthracite through-charcoal. Two ivory counter-edges surround the main brick, all three with garlands of polychrome flowers. 200 x 115 cm.
