SENNEH (Persia), early 20th century. An anthracite field wit - Lot 140
SENNEH (Persia), early 20th century. An anthracite field with stylised multicoloured flowers known as "Herati" and bordered with ivory, hosts an oblong, red, plain abrasive medallion. Three hearts adorn this triptych, two jagged anthracite rhombuses and a main, central, ivory and crenellated cruciform. The "Herati" decor can be found again in these hearts. Two dotted navy counter-edges frame the main red with polychrome floral interlacing. 205 x 140 cm.
